The Magician's Garden (2020)
An updated surrealist adaptation of Géza Csáth’s short story. By shifting the setting from a village frontier to a desolate urban center, the film investigates the "underground" of rumor, transgression, and sexual deviance. It asks: who is the magician in a city of empty streets?
Giacomo (2023)
Commissioned for a grant on Evolutionary Translation, this film is an experimental adaptation of James Joyce’s posthumous text, Giacomo Joyce. The project explores the boundaries of linguistic and visual transposition. It premiered at the Aotearoa Poetry Film Festival as part of a specialized panel on the evolution of poetry-film.
Vesna Sonata (2023)
A short "film-song" that utilizes an experimental documentary lens to explore the corruption of primal animal drives—sex and sustenance—within contemporary society.
